In this episode, Dominic & Ryan interview two students at Van Buren High School that are making a positive impact. Beyond being great students and athletes for the Black Knights, they led a 7 week fundraiser for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. They both have personal connections with these diseases, which fueled their passion to fundraise.

Kari Colman

Kari and her husband, Eric, reside in rural Arcadia with their four children: Cora, Beau, Dirk and Lyza. The Colmans raise cattle, along with tending to crops.

Aside from their farm, Kari enjoys being outdoors, reading, running half marathons with friends throughout the country, coaching volleyball and basketball, and being in the company of family and friends.

Kari is involved throughout the community. She is active in Arcadia PTA, Arcadia Athletic Association, serves within the church, and helps with basketball for Arcadia youth.
